What is your favorite room in the apartment?
Our Dining area
Why is this your favourite room?
The dining room is our favorite because we spend the most time there and it is our gathering place.
How have you decorated it? I.e what style?
Our home is decorated in a transitional style.
Is there anything in this room that you are particularly proud of?
I am proud of our gallery wall I put up! It is fun to see all the memories we have made together as a family.
What’s your relationship like with your landlord?
Great! He has trusted us to make changes to our apartment. We ask for permission for bigger changes and he has been pretty flexible with us.
One word to describe how this room makes you feel today?
Functional/unencumbered
Do you have a top tip for renters?
Don’t be afraid to use paint when you’re renting it can personalize the space and make it your own! Or to add rental friendly changes like removable wallpaper, switching out light fixtures and saving the old ones. Make it your home not just a place to live.
